I had never seen so many different types of cabbages before i came to Germany. Its wonderful to know that people cook cabbages in so many different ways here. Its like staple food in winter. Back in India we prepared the cabbage curry, cabbage bhaji's and koftas during winter season. As its still cold in Germany i decided to prepare the cabbage curry. This is very simple yet delicious cabbage curry recipe which has been shared to me by my sister-in-law.

Cabbage is also very popular over here and we do get a few types of varieties, that being the round yellowish version, Chinese cabbage and purple ones are making in roads too.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the basic kind, the round yellow cabbage because these are reasonably priced. I also think that cabbage is a popular veg among Indians because I noticed that many of my Indian friends cook it very often.
That said, cabbage by itself into a curry is new to me but it sure looks good and fabulous. The ghee will be a preferred choice for me because of the lovely fragrance, also the taste. Need to make your lovely version of cabbage dish/curry because we sometimes get bored with the same type of cabbage dishes.
This is my favourite vegetable. I make it atleast once a week. Picture looks delicious sush :)
