Butter Chicken- The Easy way

I love butter chicken
This is the easiest and the wonderful recipe for butter chicken...After a sad incident with my machine i was quite upset but to my surprise things got back on track in time.I love my hubby's detective attitude for that, he is quite smart and intelligent and never ever looses a chance to impress me....

  • Chicken (Grilled/baked/Roasted/Tandoori)-500 g (sliced) Baked chicken recipe here
  • Fresh Tomato Puree-  250 g(3 tomatoes)
  • Garam Masala  1Tsp
  • Coriander Power  1 Tsp 
  • Turmeric - 1 Tsp
  • Kashmiri Mirch - 1 Tsp
  • Kasuri Methi -1 Tsp
  • Cream -2 Tbsp
To temper :
  • Butter - 3 Tsp
  • Oil - 1 Tsp
  • Sugar - 1/2 Tsp 
  • Jeera- 1/2 Tsp  
  • Cloves 
  • Cinnamon stick small
  • Cardamon  -2
  • Green chilies - 2
  • Ginger and Garlic paste - 1 Tsp

Direction :
  • Heat Kadai or skillet. Add Butter and oil(Addition of few drops of oil helps in avoiding the burning of butter ) . Once the butter melts add all ingredients mentioned for tempering .
  • Add fresh tomato ,turmeric ,Kashmiri mirchi ,Garam masala and salt cook it  for 15 min 
  • Add kasuri methi and cook it for 5 minutes 
  • Add the chicken pieces  and cream turn off the heat after one boil .
Done....Your Butter chicken curry is all ready to be served. Enjoy with Nan, Chapati, Rice or Bread of your choice.
