Whole Wheat Banana & Raisin's Pancake - Healthy Breakfast Recipe Series

Pancakes are said to be healthy when they are prepared with whole wheat flour. This is a quick ,filling and healthy breakfast dish. You can prepare it in the go. Raisin and banana add lots of flavor to this pan cake. Wheat provides iron and calcium to your body whereas banana and raisins provides with vitamin C. Let 's take a look at this recipe.




Serves- 8 medium size pan cake.
Preparation time- 5 minutes
Cooking time - 16 minutes(for 8 pancakes).
Total time- 21 minutes.
Level of difficulty- Easy

Ingredients:

  • Whole wheat flour - 100g
  • All purpose flour- 30g
  • Milk- 230 ml
  • Sugar- 2 Tbsp
  • Salt- 1 Tsp
  • Baking Powder- 1 Tsp
  • Baking Soda- 1/2 Tsp
  • Egg-1 big
  • Banana- 1 mashed
  • Raisins- 100 g
  • Butter- 2 Tbsp at room temperature
  • Butter or Oil for Greasing pan
Preparation:
  • In a bowl mix together whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda. Mix for 2 minutes.
  • In another bowl whisk egg, milk ,banana and butter.
  • Now pour this mixture in the flour mix and prepare the batter.
  • Heat a pan at medium heat. Grease it with butter or oil
  • Now pour like 3 tbsp of batter over the pan. Place the raisins over the batter.

  • After you see the pan cake rising, flip the pan cake. Wait for like minute and take it out.

Repeat this process until you get desired number of pan cakes.

Serve it hot with honey and enjoy.
