Ladyfinger lover will always love this Dish. I first got to know this recipie when my mummy bought a microwave and in its booklet they had mentioned about how to cook this masala bhindi in microwave. Immediately i tried and i came out with colourful and bright result. Post marriage i wanted to cook it but then on gas , This is what i tried and to my luck i was able to make my hubby too happy with it. :-)
It can be served with chapati or with Rice.

Ingredients:
- Lady finger/Bhindi/Okra - 400gms
- Mustard oil- 3 Tsp
Ingredients for Masala:
- Turmeric Powder- 1 Tsp
- Coriander Powder- 1 Tsp
- Pepper Powder- 1 Tsp
- Aam chur (Dried Mango Powder)- 1 Tsp
- cinnamom Powder - 1/2 Tsp
- Tomato - finely chopped 1(medium in size)
- Salt- as per taste
- Onion- 1 finely chopped (medium in size)
- Oil - for frying
- Green chillies - 2 pcs
Method for preparing Masala:
- Take oil in one pan
- Add the cinammom powder
- Add the chopped the chillies
- Add the finely sliced onion
- Fry for sometime.
- Now make a thick paste of the remaining ingredients by adding some water to it
- Fry out this paste along with onion.
- Fry out until u can sense all the flavours of masala
Method for stuffing and cooking Bhindi:
- Slit the bhindi as shown in the picture
- Stuff the masala inside the slits
- Heat 2 Tsp of oil in a flat kadai
- Now slowly put all the stuffed bhindi into oil
- Sprinkle some salt over the bhindi
- Sprinkle little water
- Cover the kadai and allow the bhindi to be cooked for 5 min.
- Keep turning the bhindi from time to time such that the whole bhindi is evenly cooked
Your stuffed lady finger is now ready to serve
