Oats are full of high energy, carbohydrates and fiber. It has low fat content and high protein content. Here we see that oats are highly nutritious cereal . It would be wonderful if we start our day with it. Here i have come up with a oat porridge recipe that is very simple yet delicious in taste.
Preparation -1 minute
Cooking - 5 minutes
total- 6 minutes
level of difficulty- easy
- Oat meal flakes- 100gm
- Milk- 250 ml
- Sugar- 1 Tsp
- Almond- 2 , chopped
- Grapes- 4 to 5
- Any other fruit of your choice.
- Honey- 1 Tbsp
- Boil milk.
- Once the milk gets boiled add the oat meal, stir frequently for 3 to 4 minutes. You will see that the oats are done after 4 minutes.
- Add the sugar. Give it a stir. Turn off the heat.
- Add all the chopped almond, raisins, grapes and any other fruit of your choice. Add in the honey.
Enjoy your oat meal porridge.
